Roof and Facade Material Choices for Holiday-Home and Hotel Projects

Much of the construction activity around Alanya is residential, holiday-home and hotel projects, and on these buildings — unlike industrial structures — how the roof and facade look matters just as much as insulation and durability.

Roof options

On pitched roofs, the choice is usually between sandwich panels, insulation over trapezoidal sheet, or shingles. A sandwich panel does the structural and insulating job in one piece and goes up fast; shingles give a more traditional look and are usually laid over timber or OSB decking.

Choosing panel for the facade

On facades, concealed-fastener panel systems leave a flat, uninterrupted surface and are a common choice for hotels and commercial buildings. The color range is wide too — you can match a RAL code to the project's design.

Both show up often on villa and holiday-home projects — the choice mostly comes down to roof pitch and the look the client wants.

Standing up to salt air

Near the sea, the quality of the panel's surface coating matters: high-durability finishes such as PVDF slow down fading and corrosion over time. Standard polyester coating is cheaper but doesn't last as long right on the coast. Send us the project dimensions and the look you're after, and we can work out together which panel type fits the job.
