Every shift begins with a fifteen minute site walk. Work-at-height points, electrical panels and lifting equipment are inspected visually; if anything is missing, work does not start.
Personal protective equipment checks are logged. Equipment that fails inspection leaves the site and is replaced the same day.
Monthly drills are not limited to fire scenarios; fall-from-height and scaffold evacuation are rehearsed regularly as well.
